For Residents That are Seeking Dental Services
Toothpicks works at your location, offering dental services to your residents. We provide regular, routine dental and dental hygiene care on-site.
We are proud to have the ability to work with the staff and residents at your facility to establish an oral health care program that meets the needs of your residents on an individual basis. Toothpicks has successfully implemented dental services in residences around Simcoe County and York Region, providing care to seniors.
Toothpicks provides all necessary equipment and supplies. We are able to sterilize on-site.
Our staff will contact all of our patients or power of attorneys to schedule every appointment and will also make contact after every appointment. We feel that it is important for everyone to know how the appointment went, what the findings were, and to discuss any future treatment plan options.
We bill our patients or power of attorneys directly, thus alleviating your staff from administrative duties.
Our staff have the experience and education to provide dental and dental hygiene care for your residents. We have attended a variety of continuing education courses, not limited to but including:
- Dentistry in Our Geriatric Future
- Medical Conditions Relevant to Elder Dental Care
- Dental Hygiene for the Ambulatory Dental Patient
- Taking Dentistry to the People — Mobile Dental Care
- Dental Care for the Long-Term Clinical Environment
